Mike Long

Mike Long was born in Alamo, California where his father, Tom Long, is a pediatrician. Mike is currently a first year medical student at the Creighton University School of Medicine. He attended Creighton as an undergraduate where he completed a BA in American Studies and History in 2003. Most recently he returned to Creighton from Eugene, Oregon where he completed a BS in Human Physiology in 2007. In his free time Mike trains as a competitive runner; he enjoys modern art and has a steadily expanding portfolio of his work. Mike hopes to use his passion for running and understanding of exercise physiology to build a career integrating facets of public health and sports medicine.
