Andrew Landstrom
Andrew Landstrom is a fourth-year M.D./Ph.D. student at the Mayo Clinic currently engaged in cardiovascular research in the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where he met his future wife Jennifer. Andrew remains highly involved in organized medicine and has served as Chair of the Minnesota Medical Association Medical Student Section, represented Mayo as the Chapter Delegate to the American Medical Association House of Delegates, and has served on various committees including the Zumbro Valley Medical Association Committee on Legislation, and the Minnesota Medical Association Committee on Communications. Currently, Andrew is spending his third year on the American Medical Association Committee on Legislation and Advocacy and is the Vice Chair of Political Education. He hopes to have an academic career in pediatric cardiology.
